Lewis Carroll

"To me it seems that to give happiness is a far nobler goal that to attain it: and that what we exist for is much more a matter of relations to others than a matter of individual progress: much more a matter of helping others to heaven than of getting there ourselves."

Survival of the Gold Promise II

The Gold Promise, no matter how eternal,
how invincible in our eyes.
It is as ephemeral as we.

Our goals must be as weak as our humanity.
A simple human can not dream to accomplish the tasks of God.
But even so, something will be brought, fate will be tested,
humanity will have a good stretch.

We won't challenge what is above,
but everything within our limits will be exhibited.
This sui generis spiel will amount to something.
The world will not experience an arcane understanding.
The world will see our abilities.

These hopes are what keep us alive,
these expectations are what motivate.
Heaven is to be reached for,
but heaven is rest from this weary world.

Are you weary?

And
FOR THE SAKE OF HUMANITY
are you ready?

I have made toasts to a lot of things. I probably have made a toast to The Gold Promise... Well let me make a toast to the continuity of it...

Well, I bloody don't, mate. I am an atheist. My goal is to see the human next to me as that: a human. Many thanks.

Greetings from London.
