Lewis Carroll

"To me it seems that to give happiness is a far nobler goal that to attain it: and that what we exist for is much more a matter of relations to others than a matter of individual progress: much more a matter of helping others to heaven than of getting there ourselves."

Society of Love

Call me crazy. but I believe that no person should have to suffer.
And if any person shall suffer, let it be regarding his own choice.

Ignorance turns this world into a miserable place,
but we can resolve to love.

We should come together,
divisions kill and alienate.

No matter what the world says,
The Society of Love will take you in,
and show you the way to live.

No matter the general consensus,
those with the arcane knowledge of a life lived in love,
will be the ones to change the world for the better.

The Society of Love
is one to be reached for
For the Sake of Humanity

It is impossible for a person not to suffer. The very existence of a person will cause them pain in their life. Nobody can be safe from the harm of the world. We have no choice in the matter. As nice as it would be if suffering did not exist and we had a choice, we don't. At all.
It seems that you too have been seeing the power of love. Ignorance can turn the world into a miserable place, but knowledge turns the world into a place of cruelty. Knowledge breeds suffering. Ignorance can turn it to a bad place, but knowledge can make it even worse. Love can resolve many things.
Divisions do kill and alienate, but there is no way for this to happen as well. Humans are selfish and will do whatever they need to only for themselves.
Those with love, can change the world for a better. However, for some, the lack of love is the reason for which they are able to change the world for the better. Also what exactly is this "society of love?"
I also say hello to you, for it has been a while.

My sincere thanks for your caring.

I don't understand by what you mean by that I am so lost? Where have I gone? Why do you worry about my confusion.

We will all suffer in one way degree or form, Rafe. This is a universal truth. A human that does not suffer in any way, is an organism without any water. Dead. Rafe, you must realize that Buddha the man who came up with the idea that desire leads to suffering suffered himself. Every human, no matter how tiny or ethnic or disease ridden will suffer. I wish I could say at least one person in our world wouldn't but think of it this way. A person has to at least feel physical pain. Pain is suffering isn't it?

The world could become a less harmful place Rafe, but realize something. To do that human kind would need to become a better place as a whole. Yet humans become more and more corrupt as time goes on.

I felt as you do about love. I realize the power of love is the strongest emotion. Stronger than that of hate, and nothingness. However, lose is a desire Rafe. A yearning to be feel accepted between people and accept one another for who the other is. The loss of this person causes you pain. It can cause horrid and cruel pain my dear friend. Love breeds revenge in some. That revenge will breed hate. Hate will breed suffering. Love will have its place in the helping of certain aspects yet please don't deny it can cause pain.

I would like a world of evil and bad that are gone. Yet we can't do that Rafe. We simply can't. No true amount of all bad can be taken away.
